They came through Vancouver last summer and I got a chance to see them for only the second time. It was awsome. They did an autograph signing before hand and they were all pretty nice guys. Paul was real quiet, but Jeff was a bit of an asshole. Anyway, they kicked ass that night. Played a lot of the old stuff which was rad, but opened and played a lot of their new stuff. They didnt play ANYTHING from Divine Intervention, so read into that as much as you can. The one thing that is bugging me is the amount of kids and maralyn manson types that came to the show. 4 years ago they came by and the only ones that were there were drunk native indians and bikers. It was insane. This time around the pit was pretty good for a green day show. Thats all I have to say. The new album does sound more stripped down, but none on the songs are as memrable as any of their "Reign In Blood" and "Hell Awaits" or "South Of Heaven". I guess its because there getting old, but it was a good show and id go again. xmikex
